Current Fashion Trends 2021
Hello Beautiful People!!! Welcome back to my page. Hope you all are safe and sound...
So today your fashion blogger Ruqaiya Tousif is going to share my views and ideas of what will we be wearing in 2021. So let’s get started!!!
The most current fashion trends are those that feel easy to wear but still look as though you made just enough effort to do whatever it is you do during these strange, strange days and nights. Whether that’s daily Zoom meetings and a few essential errands, the occasional (safe!) outdoor dinner, weekend park outings, or in-person work, we all could use clothing that makes us feel a distinct sense of ease and comfort.
While it’s been a quiet year for the fashion world, this season has unveiled seriously bold and stylish designs. Large and in-charge blazers, bold blue bags, and sleek face masks dominated Fashion Weeks over the last few weeks. This year, some of the most influential decades have played a huge role in this season’s looks. We love every single one of them, and you can see why. From Paris to Milan, find serious style inspiration with the top fashion trends spotted at SS21 Fashion Weeks.
Tips want you should go with in 2021:
Oversized Shoulder pad Boyfriend Jackets:
Create a long line silhouette and play with shapes with a 80s-inspired oversized boyfriend blazer.
Black face masks:
When it comes to protecting yourself, you may as well do it beautifully. These sleek black face masks match almost any outfit you wear, and they offer great coverage for your nose and mouth. Opt for a silky fabric for easier breathing or choose something with embellishments if you’re feeling fancy. The beauty behind this face-covering is the limitless styling opportunities that come along with it. Wear anything from a red trench coat to a colour-blocking suit and look exceptionally stylish. From an accordion-style to a traditional shape, there are so many choices that will keep you and others safe.
Head scarfs:
Taking inspiration from the 50s and the 60s, this sleek fashion trend is coming back in a big way.Headscarves protect your hair and add a finishing touch to your outfit without overdoing it. Choose from a silky design with floral motifs or intricate patterns, or keep it simple with bold colours and block letters. When styling this accessory, you can wrap the fabric under your chin in a loose knot, or have it hanging off the back of your head – mix things up by wrapping it around your neck or let it dangle from your bag.
Sorbet pastel tones:
Another trend that has continued to dominate this year has been pastel tones. These sorbet-inspired colours are the perfect option for summer and they suit a wide variety of skin tones. Choose from a boiler suit in cool mint green or an oversized trench coat in soft lavender – better yet, try them both simultaneously.
Yellow bags:
This season yellow bags have taken over the runways and the streets. This trend is easy to replicate and it is timeless – choose a small clutch to spice up an outfit or find a mustard tote for your daily needs. There are so many shades to choose from that suit your taste, and they look incredible when paired with other vibrant hues or a monochromatic ensemble.
Folk inspired coats:
Go all out this season with these beautiful and intricate folk-inspired coats. When the temperature starts to drop, add some layers of delicate embroidery and lace to keep your outfit hot. The intricate tapestry on each piece of outerwear looks great with a monochrome black or brown ensemble, or chooses it in a series of other colours for a bright and interesting choice. This trend is easy to style and looks fantastic on every body type.
White knee high boots:
Swing it back to the ’60s with this classic go-go dancers inspired item of
footwear – white knee-high boots. Taking its inspiration from the youth
revolution in the mid-century, this Nancy Sinatra-approved look is a chic way to elevate your outfit. Wear it with a patterned mini dress or skirt, a roll neck, or a funky pair of leggings. This season, opt for a slouchy style for an effortless feel or keep it sleek and tight for a sexy touch.
Sweet cropped cardigans:
This vintage-inspired trend was kicked off among higher-end brands like
Aleksandra rich and LoveShackFancy, and it has inevitably trickled down to the Zara’s and forever 21s of the world. Don’t be fooled by the way the women
above styled theirs—this trend looks just as cute with lounge-y sweatpants as it does with jeans or a midi skirt. Plus, whether buttoned up on its own or with a matching cami underneath, it’ll impress over zoom even if you pair it with the flannel pj bottoms you wore to bed.
Candy-coloured sweatpants:
Few items can replace your favourite pair of worn-in heather gray sweats, but this year—one that was defined by couch clothing—the demand for sweatpants in a variety of colours, including pastels and juicy bolds, was strong. Blame it on the idea that, once we felt comfortable to go outside again, our commitment to comfort didn’t waver but we still wanted to shop for and wear pieces that felt
a little more fun than what typically coloured sweatpants telegraph.
Shackets:
Brushed plaid “shackets”—a hybrid of shirt and jacket—are among the current fashion trends that can be worn anywhere, any time. Heavier than a flannel shirt but not quite as bulky as a full-on coat, they’re perfect if you need to run out. They also look great with most things you’re already wearing, from sweatpants to turtlenecks.
Puff sleeves:
Among current fashion trends, this one is made to be noticed and therefore might have been a little more fun when you were actually going out and living life, but it’s also one that looks fresh on a grocery store run, the occasional (again, safe!) Outdoor dinner, or yes, over zoom.
Hoodies under blazers:
Take the “cozy” quarantine piece we’re all sick a little of wearing and layer it
under a blazer, and you’ve got a legitimately perfect, just-polished-enough outside—or inside—look. Whether you favour boxy oversized blazers or more tailored styles, you can’t mess up this trend.
So this are my views and ideas what to go with in 2021. I hope you all loved it!!! Until next time. Take care bye!!!
